What’s new
The latest improvements shipped to Prismfolio.
The positions that could not be classified are now named under the confidence note
The note used to say how many positions had no sector, and stop there. It now lists each one and why, so you can see what is holding the score back.
The health score's word now sits on the dial, and the parts use their own scale
The dial used to show a number only, while the chips next to it borrowed the overall words for scores they were never meant to carry. The dial now carries the same word the rest of the product uses for that score, and each part has a scale of its own.
The accounts page uses one sync rule for its wording
A manually entered account could read Stale even though it was never meant to sync. The accounts page now says Entered for a manual account, and Synced, then Stale, for a linked one. The extension will pick up the same rule with its next Chrome Web Store update.
More stocks are classified into sectors
A listed stock we already knew the sector for on the research card could still land under "could not be classified" on the score. Those stocks now pick up that sector, so fewer books hit the confidence note for this reason.
Your score, your insights and your action plan all read the same risk level
Changing your risk tolerance moved the dial on the Overview, but the cards beside it could still be showing work done against the setting you had before. Every one of them now refreshes when you change the setting, and again when you come back to the tab.
The concentration page tells you when it cannot load your health context
When that read failed, the Portfolio Health Context card was simply absent, which looks the same as having nothing to say about your book. The page now says it could not load and offers a Retry. The concentration analysis above it was never affected.
The privacy policy is clearer about what Accept turns on
The policy said that accepting cookies enables full product analytics. What Accept enables is browser analytics, and the policy now says that in each of the places it came up. Its effective date has moved to September 18, 2026.
Renewal and trial dates now show the exact time
Billing showed a date on its own, which could fall on a different day from the reminder email about the same subscription. It now shows the time and your time zone alongside it, so the two agree.
Your health score and allocation targets use the risk level you set
They were being worked out against a middle-of-the-scale default instead.
An accurate release history
This page now lists the releases Prismfolio has actually shipped, with the dates they went live. The entries below it used an internal numbering scheme and dates that matched no public release.
A calmer Overview
The Top holdings card no longer carries a line about how much of your portfolio could not be expanded into the holdings underneath it. That figure is still shown on the Holdings page, where there is room to explain it.
The concentration list matches your stock holdings
The ranked list on the concentration page now counts the same stock positions the Holdings page counts when you open up your funds. Bond, crypto and unclassified rows no longer appear in it.
Risk zones are explained before you meet them
The Risk Thresholds legend moved above the first concentration metric, so you read what the zones mean before you read the numbers they color.
Bond sleeves no longer count as fund overlap
Two funds that each held bonds were reported as overlapping because of those bonds. Bonds are now left out of the overlap calculation the way cash already was, which changes the largest-overlap figure on the trade impact page.
The concentration card shows holdings, not caveats
The card used to spend several lines explaining how much of your portfolio we could not read into individual holdings. Those lines are gone and it now shows what we did read.
The concentration verdict hedges only when it matters
The verdict now adds its caution only when a holding we could not fully read is large enough to change the answer, instead of every time anything was incomplete.
Fewer request limits while your accounts load
Loading your connected accounts hit a request limit far sooner than it should have. The limit on that screen is six times higher now, and the overall limit for signed-in requests went up with it.
Old Google Analytics cookies cleared out
Prismfolio no longer uses Google Analytics, but cookies it set earlier could still be sitting in your browser. They are now deleted on your next visit.
The pricing switch reads correctly to a screen reader
The monthly and annual control on the pricing page is now marked up as a set of buttons with the active one flagged, so a screen reader announces which cadence is selected.
See more than ten concentrated positions
The concentration page listed your ten largest positions and stopped there. One control now expands the list to fifty and collapses it back again.
Declining cookies now deletes them
Declining the cookie banner left the campaign cookie we had already set sitting in your browser. Declining now deletes it, so there is nothing left to carry forward.
Signing out ends every session
Signing out could stall for an account whose session was created before an earlier security change. Those sessions now sign out cleanly.
A failed first payment no longer uses up your free trial
An attempt that never went through was being counted as a past subscription, so the trial was quietly refused.
The privacy and security pages name the right tool
Both pages still mentioned Google Analytics, which Prismfolio no longer uses. They now describe the one analytics tool we do use, PostHog, and what it records before you accept cookies.
Prismfolio is live
Bring your holdings in through the browser extension, through a Plaid connection, or by typing them in, then see how concentrated your portfolio is, what your funds cost you each year, and what actually sits underneath the funds you own.
Open the web app straight from the extension
The "View in web" links in the extension drop you into your dashboard already signed in, with no second sign-in.
Automatic syncing offered after your second extraction
Once you have pulled an account from your brokerage by hand twice, the extension offers to connect it through Plaid so it refreshes on its own.
Your clearest finding leads the Overview
The web Overview opens with your most notable portfolio finding, so it is the first thing you see rather than something you have to go looking for.
Send feedback from inside the extension
"Send Feedback" in the extension opens a real form, with Bug and Feature Request categories, instead of sending you to the Chrome Web Store review page. It comes straight to us.
Learn page fixes before launch
The "Learn more" link on the first onboarding insight was being dropped instead of rendered, and internal score-methodology entries were showing on the public Learn page. Both were fixed before launch.
